Pretty, pretty Center Camp. Hard to believe that in a mere matter
of hours, this place will be lousy with Hippies and associated
ilk, spreading their hideous creed of tolerance, annoyance, and
stank.
Luckily, Center Camp is also a source of the world's finest
stimulant: sweet, sweet coffee.
I got a drill right here, it's name is Paul Revere, and guy
who says if the weather's clear, Can Do! Can Do! This drill
says I sure Can Do!
Solar panels would be dragged on top of the truck and provide
power to the stereo during the day.

Jack is already working on his sunburn. Later in the week,
he would moan, "How can Jonathan go shirtless and not get
burned, and I can't?"
More lotion, Jack. It's not the answer to every situation,
but it's the answer to a lot of them.
More lotion.

Tom.
Yes, I know it is surprising to see a shot of Tom and NOT see
his crank, but I made that one of my challenges for the week.

Beginnings of a gate.

Railroad ties helped build the West, they did. Them, and b'abed
wire.

Even though at this point, 6 people are holding up the Gate,
it was actually very very stable. We didn't even have to attach
guy wires to hold it down in heavy wind.

"Are you sure you know what you're doing?""
In a high res version of this pic, you can see, yes, Tom's
crank.

Drilling down the last of the stage.

Yes, it is quite warm.

One of the Lotus Girls, working on the Hand of God while it
is still on top of the transport car.

Tom and Margaret Mk. 2 watching the front end of a dust storm.

The first broken-down art car of the season.

Sun worshippers, and shade worshippers.

"So, wait, it's a shower stall, AND a bong? Carl, you
are a mad genius."

That's a fine sconce, right there.

Bone chandelier, and lights, being wired up.
